The advanced AXAGON ADS-1PQN active USB converter easily extends your computer with a RS 232 standard serial port. The highest level of compatibility between USB - serial RS232 adapters thanks to the use of an original valued chip by the Scottish Company FTDI.

The fixed 1.5 m long USB-A cable is suitable for use with both a desktop computer and a laptop. The cable is equipped with gold-plated connectors and contacts, the very durable body of the adapter is also suitable for industrial applications. Double shielding protects transmitted signals from adverse interference.

The converter is the ideal accessory for your computer to connect barcode readers, cash register printers, scanners, microcontroller programmers, CNC machines, modems, and to upgrade or configure set-top boxes, security devices, switches, transmitters and other devices.
